Delicious food and fun atmosphere!

A 3.8. This place was a delightful find on one of recent road trips. Fast service with great options for appetizers and Bar service. Fish tacos were fresh and flavorful. My wife and I both enjoyed the good food with very good prices.Waitress was very attentive and friendly.

I had an Iggy's Hot Pot which was good. Waiter was attentive and quick. Good experience.

I always enjoy the food and staff always treats us well. But today I was waited on by Mauricio. He was FANTASTIC ! Very attentive. Polite. My drink or sauce was not empty at any point during the meal. He deserves a special shout out ! Thank You !

This was my first visit to the Salty Iguana and I was not impressed at all. The drinks were Great...REAL GOOD but when it came to the food it LOOKED really good but had NO FLAVOR and was very bland. My order came out and it was very dry and almost to the point of being burned. While there the fire alarm went off and there was no reassurance from management that it was a false alarm which was kind of odd. I will return for the drinks not for the food. Chips and dip maybe.

Visiting from Co.Spgs. First time there. Sat at bar Saturday night to place an order to go. The bartender, I believe her name was Breanna, was great! Very attentive & friendly. Made a really good Top Shelf Margarita. Took the food home, it was also very good. I definitely will be back, next time in town!

A really charming and inexpensive Mexican food option. Most guests, regardless of how many times they've been to the resteraunt will still find new things in the mural of cartoon iguanas that paints the entire interior of the resteraunt. They don't skimp on the portions, and you always feel like you've received way more food than you paid for. A burrito is enormous. Their salsa is excellent, and the service is great. My only complaint is that years ago, they did away with shredded beef, and now only use ground beef. I would love for them to return to shredded beef as an option because theirs was delicious. Definitely look at Salty Iguana first if you're in the mood for an authentic Mexican dish.

Worth a stop for sure. Came in from out of state and when saw the name, had to try it out. Friendly staff, great prices for drinks, chips and salsa are top notch a d food is pretty good.

The service is excellent here even when it's really busy. The menu is a bit limited but food is quite good. The Big Iguana, which includes a tamale, taco and an enchilada was quite good and the Taco's Azule (bluecorn tortillas), were stuffed and flavourful. While the guacamole left a bit to be desired the cheese dip was good, it was super busy and the kitchen was having difficulty keeping up with the chips which were under cooked which is why this gets a 4 instead of a 5.

I had a great time, and always do. The salsa is so good. I also recommend the white queso. I got the street tacos and they were delicious. Drink prices are reasonable, servers are friendly, and the restroom is clean! Great place for a quite dinner for two or a party of 6 or more! Quick!

Always amazing! Mackenzie our waitress was just great even though she was swamped. The $5 margaritas are always great. We also had the chicken quesadillas which were perfect!

Can't really put my finger on it. Visited for the first time in years. If my food tasted like yesterday. It would have been my last. Gonna give it another visit. It was great once.

Excellent service, good food, clean restaurant. This particular outing was to celebrate a friend's birthday and the restaurant was very accommodating. We accidentally stayed past close and they treated us like family. I will plan future dinners there. Gluten free options and vegetarian options available.

Food was good, though not as authentic as other places, more of a Tex-Mex. Nice atmosphere.

We always eat here when we are near Kansas City. The big super thin chips and salsa starts our meal. We always get a second basket they're so good. We had something new this time and just as delicious. I had the Sour Cream Chicken Burrito and hubby had Steak Quesadilla. So good, so much, we had to take half home. The service was really good. We also love the decor; cute paintings over all the walls. We will eat here again.

Restaurant is very colorful with cartoon iguanas painted everywhere. The scenes are pretty funny if you are familiar with the area. The service was nice. Very friendly and attentive. Very busy. The menu is pretty limited but I enjoyed my fajitas. The blue corn taco shells were stale. Serves Pepsi.

I loved the wall art. Great atmosphere. I got the cream cheese burrito off the lunch menu. It was very good. I don't live near this restaurant. I met family members for a get together there. This is a great place to take people visiting the kc area. Very cute restaurant.

Food was good. Had the azzul tacos. Thought they were pretty good! What I enjoyed most was the decor and giant painting on all the walls pl lacing iguanas in a bunch of famous moments in history and entertainment. Really cool.

I really like their Taco Salad with either the chicken or the beef. They also have great tasting warm chips with mild salsa to munch on while waiting for your meal. The service is always terrific. I love the interesting murals they have painted on the walls very lively.

Took my girl here for supper, she ordered the carnitas, she said that they were on the bland side and could have been seasoned more. I got the steak fajitas. The steak was flavorful and cooked well. Although the cut of meat they use made it chewy. The vegetables were grilled nicely. The pricing for the meals is a bit high in comparison to other local venues. The price per individual taco was almost $4.00 each. I wont make that mistake again. The waitress was friendly and very attentive and helpful. Kudos to her. I wish I remembered her name. Shame on me...

It was pretty good. They were friendly and attentive enough. The taco salad didn't come with any kind of sauce or sour cream, but it still tasted good.

The salty Iguana has a great atmosphere with TVs for sports entertainment. Tacos were the Monday night special for $2 dollars each. I had three along with chips and salsa and a tall draft beer. All together for $12.40. Not bad for a fun evening and I left full. The service was great with smiling friendly staff. I would recommend the Tacos. They were very good. We met the family for dinner after the Chiefs game. The chips and Salsa are very good. The Iguana dip is plentiful and fantastic. Thick, creamy yumminess. The star for Me are the tacos Azul. Deep fried blue corn with ground beef. So delicious. I would get these weekly.
